Itinerary:
Please join me for another (HOTT) hike and trivia event at Henderson Park in Tucker, GA.  From the parking area at the end of the soccer field, we will make a 3 mile loop using parts of the red, baby blue (lol), and white trails.  We will stop at the small cascading waterfall as well as the picnic area around the lake.  This hike is intended for beginners or anyone just getting back to hiking after rehab.  Of course "advance hikers" are welcome, but if you are looking for a workout hike, this is not the event for you.  Take it easy for a change of pace.  :)

We will start the hike promptly at 6:30 pm and should be finished in about 90 minutes at 8:00 pm.

Afterward, please join me for the optional trivia portion of the event at "Twisted Taco - Tucker" (770-807-7349) which is only a few miles away from the park at 8:30 PM.   Don't worry if you are not "good" at trivia.  It is just an excuse to socialize after a hike!  :)

When you sign up, please write in the note section whether you plan to attend the optional trivia portion or not so I know whether I need to reserve a large table for us.  Thank you.  :)

emergency rain gear (even though only 20% chance of precip. currently)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:[1] Take I-285 East/South and get off at Exit 37 - Lavista Road
[2] Turn left onto Lavista Road and go about 2 miles until you reach Chamblee-Tucker Road.
[3] Turn left again onto Chamblee-Tucker Road and go about 1.25 miles until you reach Livsey Road (you will see Livsey Elementary School on the left).
[4] Turn left once again on Livsey Road and then turn left one last time on Henderson Park Road.
[5] We will meet at the first major parking area at the end of the soccer fields on the left.

Notes:
The current forecast for Thursday (April 28) is partly cloudy and windy with high 71 F, low 52F, 20% chance of precipitation, and sunset at 8:18 PM ET.

A maximum of 3 friendly dogs are permitted on this hike. They must be on a leash at all times and you must pick up after your pets per park rules. Please keep in mind if you do bring pets, you may have issues attending the optional trivia portion of the event.
