Itinerary:
Y'all fixin to become a true Atlantan?  Me too.  I've been here over 15 years and have never seen the laser show at Stone Mountain.  Aside from climbing the mountain, you can do a lot of free activities in the park.  Join me as we hike the five mile Cherokee trail:

and then have a picnic and watch the laser show.

This laser show is one of the last before the new laser show begins in May.  Event 2 of 3 will be the new laser show.  The final event will be posted soon.

Plan:
5:00ishpm Arrive at park and hike
7:30ishpm get lawn spot/picnic
9:30 laser show and fireworks

Required Items to Bring:
Hike - footwear, water, snacks - about 2.5 hours
picnic/laser show: Something to drink, eat and something to share at the picnic since start/finish will be - about 2.5 hours and 5+ hours total

Event Directions:provided upon sign-up
carpool - yes, but not sure where yet - EACH CAR is $10 to enter park so this makes sense even if nearby.

* We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines while participating in AOC events.

Cost Includes:Nothing payable to AOC, park entry is $10 per car, hike and laser show included
