Itinerary:

We will meet at the East Palisades Unit, Whitewater Creek Parking area. There is a $3 parking fee per vehicle, unless you have an Annual Pass. Either the daily fee pass, or annual pass must be displayed in your windshield while parked.

The hike will begin at 5:30 PM.

We will hike along several trails of the East Palisades Unit making a few brief stops for photo opportunities. For most of the hike, I plan to keep a quick pace (this is not a D2 hike) and on the hilly portions this should get the heart rate up.  The quick pace will also allow us to take opportunities to make a few stops to enjoy the scenery and the views.  There will be parts of the trail that will be slightly steep, with protruding roots and rocks, so wear sturdy footwear.

The hike will last approximately 4 - 4.5 miles, and we will stop midway through the hike at a scenic rocky cliff to enjoy the view, take photos, and rehydrate.
