Itinerary:
Hi All!
I noticed that a lot of folks may want a nice in-town hike for Sunday morning.  So, I thought we could get a nice work out over at the Cochran Shoals Interstate North Pkwy Unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.  We will meet in the parking lot and wait a few minutes and head out by 10:15.

We will hike out on the main wide trail, and then head away from the river into the backside, less-traveled trails.  We will try to maintain a 3 mph pace for 3 hours.  We will just keep navigating until we reach a halfway point at 90 minutes, and then turn back.

When we finish, we can drive up the hill and have a late lunch together at Doc Green’s.

We will hike on trails in the following areas:
Cochran Shoals Interstate North Parkway Area
Cochran Shoals Sope Creek Area

Required Items to Bring:
  • good walking shoes
  • 2 liters of water
Recommended Items to Bring:
