Itinerary:
This hike will consist of three easy to moderate trails located in the Victoria Bryant State Park:  The Broad River Trail; the Perimeter Trail; and the Inner Loop Trail.  The hike includes pleasant creek crossings, hardwood stands, and a variety of animal habitats, including a beaver pond and observation deck.  The hike will be approximately 8.7 miles in distance, and we plan to keep a moderate pace.  Located in the rolling hills of Georgia's upper piedmont region, there will be approximately 600 feet of elevation gain only.

Following the hike, we will stop for lunch at a decades old barbeque spot which maintains a loyal following.  We then expect to return to Atlanta by late afternoon or early evening.

Disclosure:  Your TLs, who enjoy exploring new places (to them, anyway) have not hiked these trails.  Therefore, please have a sense of adventure and be in sufficient physical condition to hike extra mileage if we miss a turn somewhere.  It is our understanding that the trails are well-marked, and we will have maps in hand.
