Itinerary:
Strenuous due to high mileage and lack of water sources

From Burger King we will go to Warwoman Dell to setup shuttle. We will then travel back to US 441 North thru Mountain City and about 1 mile past Dillard turn right on Ga 246,246 will become N C 106 about 7 miles on Hwy 106 take right onto Hale Ridge Road at the Scaley Mountain community. Travel 2.5 miles to trail head. With the leaves gone about .5 miles into the hike look back and see rock-faced mountains in North Carolina. About 4 miles into the hike we will reach Rabun Bald (4696 feet) second highest mountain in Georgia. After we have lunch at Rabun Bald which has a observation tower that will provide good views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. From there we will hike about 5 miles to a vandal proof trail marker an engraved rock. We will take right and follow road for about .5 miles to our camp site (Rattlesnake and Blacks Creek Knobs). Sunday morning we will break camp and continue to Courthouse Gap and short distance to Martin Creek Falls and Becky Branch and ends at Warwoman Dell.
