Itinerary:
First off: You can absolutely do day 1 of this trip and not do day 2, the minimum climbing ratings at Stone Summit should be 8+ for day one and 10+ for day two. Remember, Everything is Weather Dependent!!!! Please read the whole trip description and You Must Have Required Gear!!!!!
Day 1:
We will head out bright and early to maximize the day. This climb is planned for Sand Rock in Leesburg, AL. Sand Rock is a moderate-challenge climbing area. Although there may be one or two lower-level climbs to maximize your experience,I recommend that you be able to climb at a level that is approximately equivalent to Stone Summit 5.8+ or Atlanta Rocks 5.8. At the end of the day, some people can head back to Atlanta. The rest of us will continue on to Foster Falls area (a pretty scenic drive of a little over an hour) and have dinner in Kimball, TN. The area has both camping and a few cheap hotels all within 5 miles of the Foster Falls hike entrence.

You Will Be Responsible for Your Own Hotel arrangements or Campsite!!! However, I am maintaining a list of people that want to camp to share a campsite. Email me if you want to be on that list and I'll send back the completed list a week before the trip with my reccomended places to camp so you can get in touch with each other (or I may just camp with you, still debating).

Day 2: Grab your breakfast and break camp. I expect everyone on the optional second day of the trip to meet me at the Foster Falls Parking area at 8:30 AM, we will hike in for some of the best sport and top ropeing climbs in the SouthEast. I do have to remind everyone though, this is not a begginner friendly area.

Both Days
Everyone will need to have their own shoes, harness, and belay device. You will need to know how to top-rope belay.
If the trip leader has never climbed with you, you may be asked to do a short safety check. Climbing will be top-rope style with ropes set for you.
If you want to lead climb, you are expected to observe all safety precautions including having a helmet while leading, and wearing a daisy/loop chain.
If you have your own rope and are willing to allow others to climb on it, please contact the trip leader. The size of the trip will expand to include you. An additional rope is the ONLY way this trip will expand its maximum group size.

A word on Times. we gain an hour on the way there, so 9:00 AM Sandrock time is 10:00 AM Atlanta time. I use Sand Rock local time above so in Alanta Time this event starts at 10:00 AM
