Itinerary:

Let's meet at the Mansell Park & Ride at 8:00 am, leaving at 8:15 sharp. We hope to be at the trail head and ready to hike at 9:30 am.

We will hike the from the Base of the Falls Trail (including 604 step staircase the "first mile"), and Appalachian Approach Trail and the Hike Inn Trail. After about 6 miles we will make a stop at the Len Foote Hike Inn for lunch (bring some money for donations if you are eating their food).

Afterwards, we will return via the Hike Inn Trail for a total hiking distance of around 13 miles.

The pace will be moderate/fast"ish", hmmm, let's say around 3.0 mph.

We are not planning to stop on the way back, except for maybe a drive thru deal.

emergency rain gear (even though ???% chance of precip. currently)
