Itinerary:
     So let's start the day off right with a hike for the sunrise at the summit of Stone Mountain.  It will be dark so please bring a headlamp/flashlight, and anticipate on hiking up in the dark.  It takes about 30 minutes to get to the top.  Once there we can enjoy some morning breakfast snacks to fuel for a morning hike around the Cherokee Trail.  Everyone is encouraged to hike at their own pace.

Leave Free parking next to red caboose 5:45 am

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

     Free Parking directions: To the main entrance- From I-285 take U.S. Hwy 78 East (Snellville/Athens) exit. Travel about 7 miles and take Exit 5, into Stone Mountain Village, take the very first exit to the right, when it meets to a T, turn left, stay on this road as it winds into the village, go past the police station (on the right), and make the very next left into the parking lot.  There is a wooden fence and a red caboose nearby.
