Itinerary:
The weather is getting cooler and it is time to get out on the bike and ride.  Meet me for a casual 15 mile bike ride at the Silver Comet this Friday after work around 6:00.  We will meet in front of the Bike Depot (see directions below) at 6:00.   We will look over everyone's bike and make sure tires are pumped up and we will hit the path.  We will ride for about 30 minutes and turn back around another 30 minutes back to our cars.  This will be a leisure ride where no one is dropped.   Come out and join me for a fun afternoon ride.

Required Items to Bring:
-Bike (road or hybrid) optional to bring a mountain bike
-Bottle water (it is hot out there)
-helmet
-close toed shoes
-comfortable biking attire
-A good attitude :) 		Recommended Items to Bring:

-Snacks/cliff bars/gel packs
-An extra bottle of water
-Change of clothes
-Biking gloves

BY CAR
FROM ATLANTA:

  • Take I-20 west to Fulton Industrial Boulevard Exit (#49, near Six Flags) - exit to the right.
  • Go North for .5 mile and turn left on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive (GA139).
  • Go about 7 miles (Martin Luther King Drive turns into Floyd Road after Highway 78, GA139 ends at the 78) and the Silver Comet Depot will be on your left just before you cross the Silver Comet Trail.
FROM WEST OF ATLANTA:
  • Take I-20 to exit 49 and turn LEFT on Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Follow as above.
FROM EAST OF ATLANTA:
  • Take I-20 to exit 49 and turn RIGHT on Fulton Industrial Boulevard. Follow as above.
FROM NORTH/SOUTH OF ATLANTA:
  • Take I-75 or I-85 to Atlanta, switch directly to I-20 or via the perimeter (I-285) to I-20 westbound. Follow as above.
