Itinerary:
We will hike the yellow trail. It's a pretty trail that follows a stream then heads up along the ridge and back down. From there we walk down a road in front of some houses for about 1/4 mile before we get on the gold connector trail and head back thru the forest to the orange trail. It's also a very pretty trail, well marked without heavy traffic. From there the white blazed trail takes us back down the river to the cars. 

Most of the trail is relatively flat but be prepared to walk on an old uneven dirt road for a little bit, along with a few hills.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take I-75 North to I-575 North
From 575 N, take exit 16 and merge GA-140 W/GA-20 W towards GA-5 North
You are going to come to a stoplight. (Williams Bros Barbeque is to the right of the light.) This is GA-5 (Hwy 5), take a right on GA-5 N

Travel less than 1/2 mile, cross over the Etowah River bridge and take the next left into BOLING PARK. (Big sign at the entrance.)
If you pass Cherokee High School you've gone a little too far.

Once you've turned into the park, continue all the way to the back of the park, past the huge speed bumps, past the soccer fields and the water treatment plant. We will meet in front of the pavillion at the very back of the park which will be on your right once your back there.

There is no parking fee.
Restrooms are available.
