Itinerary:

A last minute trip just to get out in nature and up to one of my favorite hiking/backpacking areas, Cohutta Wilderness and have a easy, relaxing and fun time...

This time, we'll head up north of Chatsworth and take the Crandell Access (directions to follow) into the Cohutta Wilderness to the Hickory Creek trailhead.

From there, its about a mile hike to Hickory Creek where we'll find out first opportunity to find campsites. If we want, we can continue on to Bray Field and setup camp there. Once camp is setup, we'll have an early lunch and then set out to explore the Cohutta Wilderness. At Bray Field, we have easy access to the Consauga River Trail or the ever popular Tearbritches Trail.

We'll return to camp late afternoon, cook up from gourmet meals, open some adult beverages and enjoy good company and a good fire.

In the morning, we can continue to explore the Cohutta's or make out exit out and home.

If you know me, I'm all for relaxed and easy going good times. Bring your musical instruments, beverages, iPods, dogs and black canvas bags for 'Snipe' hunting and whatever else you want to hump in.

Hope ya'll will join me...
