AOC 5th Annual - BOO at the ZOO - Volunteer and Candy Giveaway

Looking for a scary fun time?

Like kids?

Enjoy supporting the community?

 

Join us Sunday October 23rd in supporting Zoo Atlanta at the upcoming Fun Family Halloween Festival called BOO at the ZOO!!

We'll be needing 25 volunteers to simply help pass out candy, work ticket booths, costume character guides and most of all have fun with the kids and support the zoo during the event.

You must show up in costume, although it need not be elaborate. Remember there will be small kids, so keep it rated G or PG and not too scary.

The Zoo has also inquired if anyone of our volunteers would be interesting in wearing one of the character costumes (provided by the Zoo of course).. Let me know via email!

As a reward for your efforts, Zoo Atlanta will give each volunteer participant two free future admission tickets for the Zoo.


 

 

We have a lot of fun with this volunteer event. Check out our awesome group from 2009!!!

Comfortable shoes as you'll be on your feet the whole time.

Getting to the Zoo

Notes:
  • RAIN or SHINE event
  • Come in Costume but nothing scary. This is a kid-friendly event.
  • Zoo will provide candy to give to the children.

    VOLUNTEERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO EAT THE CANDY.
    THE CANDY PROVIDED BY THE ZOO IS FOR CHILDREN ONLY. 
    THE ZOO IS ON A BUDGET AND THEY HAVE STRESSED TO US THEIR REQUEST AND CONCERNS.

    VOLUNTEERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WANDER AROUND. 
    THERE WILL BE A TEAM LEAD ASSIGNED AT EACH BOOTH.  ZOO STAFF WILL ENSURE WE GET BREAKS IN A TIMELY MANNER.
