Plan is to complete another section of AT between Hogpen Gap and Unicoi Gap. This hike is just one way. Elevation is about 3170 feet, with the biggest ascent right at the start. The leaves are about to change so I thought this would be a good opportunity to see some color changes, get some excercise, and experience more North GA Mountains. So far I have completed the entire AT from Sassafras to Hogpen. Soon it won't be long before I have the entire AT covered in GA. This hike will involve a shuttle. I would like to drop cars at Hogpen and then proceed to the start at Unicoi Gap and hike southbound on the AT to finish at Hogpen Gap.

Would like to leave carpool at 7:30 am.

Start hiking by 9:30 am.

Finished hike by 5:30 pm.

Dinner possible depending on consensus of group.
