Itinerary:
Join a fun group of folks for some moderate backpacking on the CRT. After driving to the trailhead at Russell Bridge, we'll hike about 4 miles, just shy of  Lick Log Falls, and set up camp. There are several large areas to set up camp including a nice riverside camp just east of Lick Log Falls.   We'll have lunch and then scout the area and gather enough firewood for the evening. With the remaining daylight, feel free to hang by camp or we'll form several groups for small hikes around camp.  As night falls, we'll hang around the fire, have our dinner, and talk turkey. Jay may even bring his trusty backpacking guitar and sing a song or two. On Sunday, we'll take our leisurely time to have breakfast and break down camp; heading out no later than 11am.  Back to the trailhead no later than 1pm.

Note:  Not a rain or shine event.   If extended rain showers are forecast for saturday, then this trip may be cancelled.

Note: Dogs may be permitted. Contact the trip leader with info on your pooch (breed/size/previous hiking/backpacking experience, etc..) for permission.
