Raven Cliffs Falls is one of the most popular hikes in Georgia. We will hike 2.5 miles next to Dodds Creek. The terrain is moderate until we reach the falls. Our destination is Raven Cliffs Falls, which plummets over a 60 foot rock cliff. You can enjoy lunch at the base of the falls, or for the more adventurous, you can climb up the rather steep terrain adjacent to the falls and enjoy your lunch overlooking the area below. We will plan on spending at least 30-45 minutes at the falls. After lunch, we will turn around and retrace our steps back to the trailhead.

How to Get There:

Take GA 400 north, which is also US 19. As you approach Dahlonega, Take GA 60 around Dahlonega where it also becomes US 19 (GA 60 will eventually fork to the left at Porter Springs, but stay on US 19). Take a right onto US 129 at Turners Corner. Take a left onto GA Alt 75. Take a left onto the Richard Russell Hwy, GA 348. Look for parking lot for Raven Cliffs Falls after about 3.0 miles on GA 348.

Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $56.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
