Itinerary:
Easy to Moderate

The weather didn’t cooperate with us in February, but we’ll give it another shot in March. Its time for another hiking trip. Ill be leading a hike to a little jewel of a place that is very close by and will allow us all to meet for an afternoon outing.

Sweetwater Creek State Park is a gorgeous wilderness just minutes west of Atlanta. A peaceful trail follows a stream to the ruins of a textile mill burned during the Civil War and beyond, rocky bluffs for beautiful views. Depending on the weather and the group this hike will be from 5-7miles and will be done at a fairly brisk pace. Post event dining is optional.

Even though this is a make up of a cancelled trip, we require everyone to sign up again that is interested so we can keep our group small enough so everyone can enjoy the trip, and so we will also have less impact on the environment. Please feel free to email me if the trip fills up to be put on the waiting list.
