Itinerary:
Bible Springs,

Bible Springs is a great beginner's cave that even experienced cavers can enjoy, and is currently my favorite "fun" cave.  This will be the Part 2 of the Caving and Camping Weekend.  Beginners are encouraged and welcome.  This is a great cave to get your "feet wet" and to gain some experience.  Helmets and lights can be rented (with Tony T's permission) for $10, cash only.

Caution:
This is a wet cave, so appropriate clothing is recommended!  Please no cotton.  This is for personal and group safety!!

I will be coordinating the carpool from the campsite so please contact me with your status on cave day.  Once we are closer to the date I will appoint someone to lead the carpool and I thank them in advance.

*** We have been given the opportunity to camp at Caver's Paradise, which is only ten miles from Bible Springs (Kimball, TN), for Saturday night. They have hot showers (donation please), an outdoor hot tub (wood burning), and will have bon-fires too keep us warm and thaw us out. I can't see how this would not be a much better fit for our weekend!!!!

longsleeve shirt (synthetic materials only, no cotton)
long pants (no jeans or cotton)

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $97.60 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
