Itinerary:

Petty John's Cave,

We will be attempting an early runthrough of the popular parts of this over six mile long cave.  Unfortunately, we will not be alone.  This is possibly the most overcaved and demolished cave in the area; however, there is so much to do and see that we will push past the parts that are over-caved.  I particularly want to send everyone through Z-bend and might take a few (crazy) people down the worm-hole that is a 150 foot very tight crawl.  I promise to get everyone out early so we can all make our Halloween Parties.

I strongly recommend that cavers have their own trusted equipment; however, on a per request basis I will make Helmets and lights available ($10 cash). We will also do some exploring in small groups, anyone less adventuresome should bring an extra jacket in case we are waiting, in the main passage, for the crawlers to come back. You will be wet and muddy but the Cave remains a constant 58 degrees.

***This is a wet and very muddy cave, proper attire is required, please no cotton. This is a beginners cave trip that small groups will be pushing and exploring other passages, this will not be a completely beginners trip for anyone wanting a little more challenge, there is plenty of tight and dirty crawls to do.  Also, I will contact anyone without experience to make sure they have proper equipment and clothing to make sure everyone has the best possible time.***
