Itinerary:

The ChattaNoon Hikes are very suitable for Newbies and Beginners. Why? We are not planning to set new speed records. If we hike close four miles only, at a little slower pace, that's OK too. We'll get our heart rates up though. We may even sweat a bit, but you won't need a shower before going back to work. All ten hikes will be at different places at the Chattahoochee NRA, beginning at Noon. Ah, that's why they are called ChattaNoon Hikes. Please be on time, because we will leave on time ... some need to get back to work.

This is a rain, shine, or snow hike (except under extreme thunder storm warning).

Come join me on the trails at the Island Ford - Unit of the Chattahoochee NRA. There are some rather hilly areas, but none of those are too challenging and the ascents quickly change to descents, giving folks time to catch their breath. Due to the many possible side trails it is important that we remain together fairly closely as a group.

If you have any questions e-mail the Event Coordinator.
