Itinerary:
(THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FROM JAN 21ST DUE TO 60% CHANCE T-STORMS.)

Callaway Gardens is offering FREE admission through February 29th, so we are heading down to do some biking and sightseeing.

We'll be biking the 10-mile Discovery Bicycle Trail. It's a gently rolling and winding paved path through Callaway Gardens. It will combine our outdoor excursion with a lot of sightseeing along the way. Our starting and stopping point will be the Butterfly center. Along the bike path, we'll be visiting the Pioneer Cabin, the Memorial Chapel, the Horticultural Center and back around to the Butterfly Center.

Our pace will be determined by the group and our stops in between, but count on an easy pace of 10 MPH.

All levels of riding ability and all types of bikes are welcome.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

YOU are responsible for your bike maintenance or repairs on the trail.

It's recommended that you bring a lock for your bike for when we are inside the Horticultural Center and the Butterfly Garden.

I'll need to find out who can help with carpooling and carrying bikes.  Use the Notes section to let me know if you have a bike rack and how many bikes you feel comfortable shuttling.
