Sweetwater Creek is a peaceful tract of wilderness only minutes from bustling downtown Atlanta. Beyond the mill, the trail climbs rocky bluffs to provide views of the beautiful mile-long stretch of white-water rapids below.

we will be hiking the red and white trail for a total of 5-6 miles and hiking about 2.5 hours. we will see the mill ruins, jakes lake also know as turtle lake, through rattlesnake habitat, and along sweet water creek. parking is 5 dollars if you dont have a parking pass.  we will meet at the vistor center!
