Itinerary:
We will meet at the north end of the parking lot. From there we will go NE to the Central Pavilion and follow the Stream Ecology trail and numerous interconnecting trails that will allow us to take a look at the newly created Treetop Adventure Course. We will not do the Treetop Course.

The trails will vary from dirt, to gravel, to paved, with minor elevation gains. Part of our hike will take us into the Mill Creek Nature Preserve. Some of the trails are wide enough for two or more to walk side-by-side. The pace will be slow enough for conversation and fellowship.

The Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center is a unique education and recreation facility. It is a high-tech cultural center with hands-on science exhibits and quality educational programming. They offer field study experience for school groups, night time nature hikes, permanent and changing exhibits in the museum, and more than 8 miles of trails. They rent the facility for corporate or special events. They seek to inspire visitors to become better stewards of our environment.
