Itinerary:
We will hike the white trail, possibly taking one of the side trails. This will be a slow to moderately paced hike. There is some uneven terrain on the side trails. Depending on the group, we'll hike anywhere from 4 to 6 miles.

My first hike was on Jan 1, 2008. It's a great way to begin the new year. Beginners are welcome.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Take 75 North to 575 North
Take exit 16, and merge GA-140W/GA-20W TOWARD GA-5 NORTH.

You are going to come to a stop light. This is GA-5 (Hwy 5). Take a right onto GA-5 and travel less than 1/2 mile.  Cross over the Etowah River Bridge and take the next left into Boling Park. (Big sign in front of the park.)

If you see Cherokee High School you've gone too far.

Drive to the back of the park, past the water plant, over the big speed bumps. You'll see a pavillion at the very back of the park. We will meet in front of it.
