Itinerary:
Headlamp-Hikers,

Take an easy stroll through Boling Park.  This will be a fun hike with a moderate pace.  Nothing too strenuous here to worry about, just listen the the sounds of the Etowah River.  There are plenty of trails here but we will stick to the marked paths as much as possible, easy in and out; however, due to the nights getting shorter you will need a flashlight or headlamp (preferred).

Since it is now January, temperatures could start to get a little on the chilly side, so bring a jacket, hat, and gloves.  Bring a bookbag or Camelback so you can shed layers if needed.

***If there is a chance of rain or it is raining this will not cancel the hike***

New AOC members and beginners are more than welcome to attend!!!!  The hike is a little over 4 miles total, and this is a good way to judge if you are ready to attempt some longer hikes with the AOC.

***Anyone that wants to stay around for dinner there is a great BBQ joint a half mile away; however, we have to start on time because they close at 9.  If we run a little late there is a Sports Bar in downtown Canton about two miles away that will not be closed.***
