Itinerary:
Our day hike begins at the top of Amicalola Falls. We'll take the AT approach trail and split off on the Hike Inn trail. This trail will take us to Len Foote Hike Inn where we'll stop for a lunch, take some time relax and enjoy the view from the back. Plan to bring your lunch. Sometimes they will have leftover desert items (cookies, cake, etc) from dinner the night before, but ask for a small donation or tip. They also have hot tea and cocoa available for a small donation. 

Note: While in the dining hall, please stay out of the kitchen area and make sure to clean up after yourselves. If you packed it in, then you will need to plan to pack it out.

Approximate total mileage is 11 miles with a moderate pace of (2.5 mph)

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $48.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Notes:
There's a fee to park at Amicalola State Park. If you do not have an annual park pass, then you can purchase a day pass for $5.00 once we get there.
