Strenuous to Very Strenuous (3 miles)

Well be hiking the bottom of the gorge trail again, some of you had gone on this trail and had a great time. The trial is not very long, its 1/4 mile to the river going down the stairs, and well hop across the Tallulah River to the other side and 3/4 mile to sliding rock, then 1/2 mile up a 900 foot hill, and then well be hiking on the scenic overlook to the restroom (vending machine for cold coke or Powerade) and then back to our cars... Ive done this trail 8 times so far twice with AOC, the 3/4 mile is the fun part, there is no official trail, so Ive came up with a trail, well be hoping, jumping, climbing some small to large rocks, well be doing jungle gym action with some fallen trees, walking on large granite rocks, etc.... but when we get to sliding rock, well have lunch here, and well be playing on sliding rock, its a gentle angled waterfall, where you sit on the top and let the water current push you down to the pool down below... its quite fun. then after having fun, well cross a river approx. 40 feet in waist deep water, to the other side, then we climb up the hill to the top (900 feet). This hike is not for a beginner, due to sever trail conditions.
