Itinerary:
Note: Since this would be my 1st "true" road bike ride with AOC, I want to be sure this is the right ride for you. You should be able to maintain a pace of 14 mph over 20 miles and preferable have some experience in group road riding.   If you don't have these qualifications, but still want to join, then indicate Beginner on sign-up, and I'll discuss with you further to determine if the ride is right for you. Thanks.   harry

This is a 30 mile road ride through low traffic country with gently rolling hills.   This route is great for those with good endurance but prefer a moderate pace.  We'll meet at the main traffic light in downtown Social Circle (see directions below).

Our pace of 12 to 14 mph is moderate, with no drops.   You should have some experience with group road riding and be able to ride a continuous 30 miles on the Silver Comet (ex, mile 0 to Hiram and back).

If there's sufficient interest, I'll continue to offer rides such as this, always at a moderate pace.

Map of route can be found
here (PDF)  I'll try to have maps available as well.  For those new to road biking, we'll cover some basic rules of group riding, including ettiquete and safety.

Helmet required.
