Itinerary:

Beginners are welcome and the trip leaders will be happy to answer any questions before, during, and after the event about gear or general backpacking issues.

This is an easy to moderate backpacking trail with no major stressful elevation changes. The goal for the group is to hike about 2.5 miles until we reach a campsite off the main road.  All campsites are first come first serve so if we are not able to find a site beforehand, it is possible that we will have to go the whole 3.5 miles to camp at the waterfall.

After setting up camp, we will hike to the 70 foot waterfall.  If the weather is cold enough, we may be lucky enough to view the waterfall in a semi frozen state.

If you are bringing a dog, please make sure that they are sociable with people and other dogs.
