The goal here is start hiking by 9:30 am and hike until we get to the South Carolina Border. I have never been this direction on the Batram Trail. I would like to see how far we can get in 4hours before we decide to turn around and head back to the car. I am think we should arrive back at the park and ride around 7:00 pm.

From the park and ride we travel about 12 miles to I-985, which bears off from I-85- (two lanes on left) and follow this road which becomes 441/15/23 north of Gainesville, GA--all the way to Clayton, GA. There we will stop briefly to coordinate and meet others, about 15 minutes, before traveling to the trailhead.

Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $76.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver.
