Itinerary:

Join us for a hike at Island Ford section of the CRNRA, one of our most favorite areas along the Chattahoochee.  We will meet at the parking lot near the Ranger Station.  Pass the first parking lot that you see on the left and follow Island Ford Parkway to the end (about .7 miles along the winding entrance road).  There is a $3 parking fee if you do not have an annual pass ($25).  They sell annual passes at the Island Ford Ranger Station if you plan to do lots of CNRA hikes.

We will start by hiking along the full length of the Chattahoochee, climb a little and loop back and forth.  We will include the new section (the lollypop loop) and return along the scenic area by the Hooch before returning to the Ranger station.

If anyone would like, we plan to go lunch after the hike at Tijuana Joe's, 7870 Roswell Road, 30350.  Their phone number is 770-817-5617.

It is on the corner of Northridge and Roswell Road.  Driving directions from Island Ford…Continue back on Island Ford Parkway to Roberts Drive and make a left.  Make a left onto Dunwoody Club Drive and a right onto Northridge until you get to Roswell Road.
