Itinerary:
Join us for an early Sunday morning hike in the winding forest footpaths along the Chattahoochee River (Jones Bridge Branch - Chattahoochee NRA).  Afterwards, we will head over to Einstein (Holcomb Bridge Road) for morning bagels & coffee/tea/etc....of course you're responsible for paying  for your own bagel(s) or breakfast, but the hike, fun company, and friendly fun chat will be free :).

The Jones Bridge hike is a cool place to get away from the city to enjoy nature without having to drive for several hours to the mountains.  It's quite common to observe deer and other wildlife on the trail and river.

This is a nice  easy/moderate loop hike (5-6 miles) that is mostly flat with a few gentle climbs.  

We'll meet in the parking lot at the very end of the entrance road.  Restrooms are available.

***Notes
1. Because of the several side trails and turns on this hike, we will be hiking closely together as a group.
2. You're responsible for your own meal and drink cost Einstein.
3. Itinerary is subject to change.

Required Items to Bring:
-1-2 liters of water
-Snack bar
-Appropriate clothing for weather
-Walking shoes or boots (Running shoes will work too!)		Recommended Items to Bring:

-Appetite for a bagel or two after the hike :)


How to Get There:
Event Directions:From GA 400, take exit 7a, and head East 4.1 miles through the intersection of Holcomb Bridge and Nesbitt Ferry Road to the junction of Barnwell Road. Turn left on Barnwell Rd, and travel approx 2 miles to Jones Bridge Branch which will be on the right. Turn in and go a little over 1/2 mile to large parking lot at end of road. We will meet near the restroom building.
