Itinerary:
Whether you have hiked, backpacked or mountain biked the Pinhoti or Bear Creek Trails you vividly remember the experience. From the large Gennett Poplar, plentiful stream crossings and panoramic views you likely find yourself coming back for more.

The USFS has a mega-workparty planned for March 10-11. As a crew leader and chainsaw certified sawyer I'll be returning the favor to these trails. I plan to camp Fri and Sat. at Mulberry Gap. This small business owner caters to the mountain biking crowd and has offered discounts for camping and dinner. Many volunteers for this event will stay at Mulberry Gap. Although hikers and backpackers are welcome to attend, most volunteers will be riding this particular weekend.

The facilities have showers and toilets, a game area for ping pong and pool, a dining room, cabins and tent camping.  The price to camp is $10 per night, normally $15 and you don't ever miss a dinner here. Normal dinners are $15 but reduced to $12. RSVP on the AOC site (so I have safety contact information) AND with Mulberry Gap to reserve a camp site. A reservation also ensures a meal!

Payment is made directly to Mulberry Gap. For more information on the camping and meals: http://mulberrygap.com/
For those of you not in the camping mood but like cabins, see the link for pricing. The hot tubs are HOT, btw!
