Itinerary:
We'll take the gravel path of the running trail to the first left trail that accesses the back loop to the Chattahoochee Forest.  We'll hike the Cochran Shoals/Interstate North end of the unit the entire time travelling at a moderately fast pace. There are some good hills here, so we'll get a nice workout.

After hiking around 5 miles, we'll exit this area and cross the river to the Powers Island side.  This area offers a 2 mile loop with one good hill that we'll hike before returning to the cars.
