Itinerary:

Meet us April 1st 2012 at 1:00 p.m for a fantastic zip line adventure right in Georgia's very own back yard, Historic Banning Mills.

It ALL starts Here!     At Georgia's ORIGINAL, LARGEST, Most Experienced and Best Zip line Tour, You seem to magically swoop through lush Giant hardwoods!

Glide among old growth trees in a deep hardwood forest. Enjoy  9 zip lines, one or two Sky bridges  and a cool tower. The Forest tour and the NEW Woodland tour, are designed with families in mind and a lower weight limit of 50 lbs so some of the smaller ones in the family can participate. Tour Time: 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours.  You will need to arrive at Banning Mills 30 minutes early so be there at 1:00 p.m. for a tour starting at 1:30 p.m. Please Note: Maximum weight is 250lbs for ladies and 285lbs for men for this Adventure.

Wear lace up and supportive shoes that cover the entire foot.
No flip flops, sandals or shoes with no backs.
Rain poncho just in case!
Recommended Items to Bring:

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Whitesburg, GA 30185-2560 9:00 AM at Historic Banning Mills Take I-285 West Towards Birmingham. Merge onto I-20 West towards Birmingham. Take the GA-5 exit – Exit 34, toward Douglasville. Turn left onto GA-5 S / Bill Arp Road. Continue to follow GA-5 S. You will be on GA-5 S for 20.6 miles. Enter next roundabout and take 1ST exit onto US-27 ALT / GA-16. After 1.8 miles you will turn right onto Banning Road. Turn right after .3 mile to stay on Banning Road. Continue .6 mile on Banning Road. Turn Right onto Horseshoe Dam Road. Proceed .1 mile to Historic Banning Mills.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $40.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Important information for paid events in which payment is managed through the AOC:

     - Payment must be received by the payment due date and prior to participation in the event.

     - Some paid events require a minimum number of registered participants. If that number is not met, the event will be canceled and refunds will be issued to those who have already paid.

     - Third-party vendors often require damage deposits. Each registrant agrees to be liable for and required to reimburse the Atlanta Outdoor Club for any withheld deposits due to the actions of or damages caused by that registrant.

     - No partial payments. All registrants must pay the posted Member Cost regardless of any agreement you may have with any party involved in the event.

     - Read the event description carefully for additional information, and contact the trip leader(s) with any questions.

Member Cost:$55.00/Person
Cost Includes:$55.00 per person. Payment of full balance is due when you register for this event. This trip is non refundable unless you are replaced on the trip with someone from the waiting list.  We need payment as soon as possible to secure deposit.  If you don't pay within 24 hours of registering you will be moved from the attending list to the waiting list.
