Itinerary:
Uh oh, I did it again.  I posted another last-minute event.  I realized I was going down to Vickery Creek this evening anyway, so I decided once again to create a last-minute event to see if I can get a taker or two to run with me.  After this rain, the falls should be nice.

This is a trail running event on hilly terrain.  We will walk a little bit around the dangerous bluffs portion (be very careful on this section.  Hold your arms out just in case you slip, and yes, I have slipped here before) or if we tucker out on some of the uphills, but mostly this is a trail running event.  Some might call my trail running a jog.  The idea is not wide open speed, but rather to just keep a jog going.  Still, you will think that your heart is going to explode, but don't let that happen.  The pace is defined as moderate on this one (that's because I'm not all that fast of a runner), but this is a running pace.  We're covering 5 miles in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

We will meet at the trail head parking area off of Dobbs Drive which is off of Oxbo Road.  Turn onto Dobbs Drive off of Oxbo, then go up the hill.  Soon you will come to a parking area on the right that has a few spaces for day users of the trail.  See the red circle (well it's kind of a circle anyway.  Looks more like a house) in the map shown. Look for the brown signs that say something about Parking for the Pedestrian Bridge.

We will start at 4:30pm on the nose or earlier if everyone gets there early (unless you are special and bring homemade chocolate chip cookies or something to that effect).
