Itinerary:
We'll head to N. GA for a day of riding.  This trail system was one of the first IMBA Epics.  The last few years a lot of work has been made to correct problem areas.

If you ride in metro Atlanta and have never been to the mountains, it is typical N. GA terrain: singletrack, some forest roads, a few creek crossings and sustained climbs and downhills.

I can't stress it enough but you should be able to ride TECHNICAL TRAILS in order to cover the IMBA EPIC.  We'll cover about 15 miles in two hours, stop for snacks, then ride again.  This is an intermediate pace but the skill level should be advanced as the climbs and downhills may put a hurting on an inexperienced rider.

Be advised, if you aren't able to ride the tougher trails around metro ATL you likely won't be able to ride the trail in N.GA without a lot of hike-a-bike.

Email Patrick and ask if you have questions.
