Join us at Mason Mill Park under the Pavilion for a trip leader meeting. Bring a camp chair in the event that the Pavilion is taken. Pizza and Soft drinks will be supplied. All trip leaders and prospective trip leaders may join the meeting. There should be plenty of free parking. We will meet at the large brown-roofed Pavilion -- see detailed directions below). Please email me any information or questions that you feel should be on the agenda. | How to Get There: | |||||
| Event Directions: | | FROM "SPAGHETTI JUNCTION" I-85/ I-285 Interchange in NE Atlanta: 1. Take I-85 South toward Atlanta about 4 miles and get off at Exit #91, "Clairmont Rd." 2. Turn Left onto Clairmont Road (US-23 southward toward Decatur) and go about 2.3 miles to the traffic light at McConnell Drive. (This is the first light south of the much busier junction and light at North Druid Hills Road). 3. Turn Left onto McConnell Drive, go just 0.1 mile and turn Right at the stop sign to stay on McConnell. 4. Look for the large "Mason Mill Park" sign immediately on your left and turn Left into the spacious parking lot. 5. Look for our AOC sign. We'll likely gather in the large brown-roofed dining pavilion, but if it is occupied we can meet instead at one of the smaller green-roofed pavilions. FROM SOUTH ATLANTA or MIDTOWN: 1. Take I-85 North, get off at Exit #89, "North Druid Hills Rd," and stay in the rightmost lane of the exit ramp. 2. Turn Right onto N Druid Hills Road and go about 2.0 miles to the traffic light at Clairmont Road. 3. Bear Right onto Clairmont Road and go 0.2 mile to the next traffic light at McConnell Drive. 4. Turn Left onto McConnell Drive, go just 0.1 mile and turn Right at the stop sign to stay on McConnell. 5. Look for the large "Mason Mill Park" sign immediately on your left and turn Left into the spacious free parking lot. 6. Look for our AOC sign.
