Itinerary:

We'll take parts of the Dunlap, East Lake and West Lake trails. There is a gorgeous suspension bridge that we'll cross. There are lots of streams, vegetation and trees. It's a very pretty place to hike. Total hike should be about 5 miles.

There is no cost to hike here, but there is a donation box at the trailhead. Please consider donating a dollar or two. This is completely optional.

Please assume there are no restroom facilities.

Required Items to Bring:
water, gatorade or whatever you like to keep hydrated (important)
snacks to fuel yourself
hiking poles if you dig 'em
sunscreen/bug spray according to the season and weather
appropriate clothing

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Coming up 85:
85N to 985N toward Gainesville. Take Exit 17. Turn left off the ramp onto GA 13 (Atlanta Highway). Continue north on Atlanta Hwy past the Golf Course on the right. Turn at the next right and a quick right onto Elachee Drive. Follow Elachee Drive for 1 mile through the golf course, across bridge over I-985. Elachee Drive deadends in gravel trailhead parking lot.

Coming up 400:
400N to Exit 17 (GA 306/Gainesville), go right (East)
Right at second light on to GA 369 (Browns Bridge Road)
Go 13.6 miles on Browns Bridge Road
You will pass a large bridge over Lake Lanier and enter in to Hall County. Once you enter Hall County, you turn right at the second traffic light on to Memorial Park Dr.
Right at dead end on to GA 13 (Atlanta Hwy)
Approximately .6 miles (you'll pass the old Mill) you turn left in to Preserve. There is a small brown sign on the right.
Then a quick right onto Elachee Drive. Follow Elachee Drive for 1 mile through the golf course, across bridge over I-985. Elachee Drive deadends in gravel trailhead parking lot.
