Itinerary:
Come join me for an after work paddle and picnic at Little River in Woodstock.

We'll meet at Olde Rope Mill Park and paddle downstream to a secret waterfall, explore a little, have a picnic dinner and then paddle back the same way.

If we have enough daylight, we can paddle upstream from the park and check out the old mill ruins and paddle through the narrow raceway where the old mill used to be.

BYOB (Bring your own boat). Kayak or Canoes are welcome.

Bring your picnic dinner and a headlamp because it will probably be dark paddling back.

Total paddle is approx 3 miles and it's all flatwater.

Required Items to Bring:
- Bring your own boat (canoe or kayak)
- PFD (personal flotation device)

From I-575 Traveling North
Take Exit 8 (Towne Lake Parkway Exit)
Turn right off Interstate onto Towne Lake Parkway
At first light make a left onto Woodstock Parkway
Go through next light at Ridgewalk Parkway onto Old Rope Mill Road
This road dead ends into the park.

From I-575 Traveling South
Take Exit 8 (Towne Lake Parkway Exit)
Turn left onto Towne Lake Parkway
At second light - make a left onto Woodstock Parkway
Go through next light at Ridgewalk Parkway onto Old Rope Mill Road
This road dead ends into the park.

This is a water event therefore you should know how to swim to attend.

PFD is required.
