Itinerary:
Please join me for another (HOTT) hike and trivia AOC event at Kennesaw Mountain. From the main visitor center (please allow for an extra 10 minutes at the start because most likely you will have to park at the overflow parking area and walk to the visitor center), we will hike over Kennesaw Mountain, Little Kennesaw Mountain all the way to Burnt Hickory Road and then back over the same way to the visitor center.  While we will not be going as fast as Danny's power hikes of less than 2 hours, we will still be going at a pretty fast pace and will finish in about 2.5 hours. Total distance will be just under 6 miles. We should be finish with the hike portion around 8:00 PM.

Afterward, please join me for the optional trivia portion of the event at Sidelines - Kennesaw (770-919-8688) which is a few miles away from the national battlefield park at 8:30 PM. Don't worry if you are not "good" at trivia. It is just an excuse to socialize after a hike! :)

When you sign up, please write in the note section whether you plan to attend the optional trivia portion or not so I know whether I need to reserve a large table for us or not. Thank you. :)

How to Get There:
Event Directions:From I-75 North
To exit 269 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn left onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. Turn right at your next light, Stilesboro Rd. The visitor center will be immediately on your left. Brown and white signs located along the roads will guide you as well.

From I-75 South
To exit 269 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn right onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. Turn right at your next light, Stilesboro Rd. The visitor center will be immediately on your left. Brown and white signs located along the roads will guide you as well.

From I-575 North
To exit 1 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn left onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3.5 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. Turn right at your next light, Stilesboro Rd. The visitor center will be immediately on your left. Brown and white signs located along the roads will guide you as well.

From I-575 South

Notes:
A maximum of 3 friendly dogs are permitted on this hike. They must be on a leash at all times and you must pick up after your pets per park rules. Please keep in mind if you do bring pets, you may have issues attending the optional trivia portion of the event.

Team Trivia starts at 8:30 PM (Thursday night is "theme trivia" of Movies, Sports, & Rock n' Roll at this location) - The more diverse our group, the better chance we will have of winning!

Please note: I am trying out this new trivia location (to me at least) and although I usually try to pick a non-smoking trivia location, I have confirmed that this place does not have such an area for us. :( Please keep that in mind when you decide to attend the optional triva portion. I'm sorry. :(
