Itinerary:

Come join me in celebration of Earth Day!!

The City of Woodstock Parks and Recreation is sponsoring the Great American Stream Cleanup. It's a river clean-up and it's being held at Olde Rope Mill Park.

The event officially starts at
9am and goes till 12 noon, but I would like our group to meet at 8:50 am @ the pavillion on the right as you drive in.  There's plenty of free parking.

We'll be cleaning up along the banks of the Little River whether it's by boat or by foot.

If you own your own boat (Kayaks/canoes are welcome), feel free to bring it. PFD is required. I'll keep ya posted on water levels, but as of 4/13/12 there's plenty of water in the river.

The sponsor(s) will provide donuts and coffee prior to the cleanup.

Bring your own gloves, but trash bags will be provided.

(If you bring a boat and want to stay after the river cleanup, then we can paddle 1.5 miles downstream to the waterfall, play, and then paddle back to the park late afternoon. Please put in the notes if you have a boat and would like to do this)
