Itinerary:

The drive to Amish Country in Delano Tn is 134 miles. 1- We will visit the community, purchase:, raw milk, eggs,, lam ,goat meat, butter milk, and also chickens.

2-The John Muir trail 20 miles ( we will do 8-12 miles this time ) was created in 1972 by the youth Conservation Corps and Senior Community Employment Program., runs 6 miles along the north bank of Hiwassee River to the Apalacine Power Plant.

We should return to Atlanta around 8 PM, or so.

Required Items to Bring:

THINGS TO BRING or WEAR:
1- 2 liters fresh water
2- hiking boots / trail shoes
3- non-cotton cloths in layers
4- poncho (just in case...)
5- Nuts & Berries and lunch
6- cash for gas (for your carpool driver)
7- towel to sit on for the ride back / paper sack for mucky boots
