Itinerary:
Easy to moderate 7 miles

Peachtree City is one of the first master-planned communities in the country. When the developers established the town in 1959 they had visions of a series of villages accessible by wooded trails. The wooded trails have become nearly 85 miles of paved recreational paths, frequented by golf carts, bicycles and pedestrians. We will walk along some of these paths from City Hall to the Braelinn Village Shopping Center, have lunch, walk along the Howard Morgan Wetlands and Nature observatory, and return to City Hall by a different route. Our itinerary will take us past an 18th. century cemetery plot, and along the shores of Lake Peachtree.

NOTE: Expected hiking time: about 4.5 hours, including one hour for lunch
