Itinerary:
Strenuous, 16 miles

Follow Twentymile Trail .5 miles turn right 3 miles to Long Hungry Ridge Trail around Rye Patch to Gregory Bald Trail climb up Gregory Bald and what a view on the Bald from there we will descend 1 mile to campsite 13 Sheep Pen Gap and camp for the evening. We will watch the sunset from Gregory Bald and Sunday morning we will watch sunrise from Gregory Bald later we will return to campsite pack up and hit the trail for Wolf Ridge Trail which is 5 miles Wolf Ridge Trail runs into Twentymile Trail turn right .5 miles to parking lot

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Great Smoky Mountains, Tennessee 10:00 a.m. - Behind Twentymile Ranger Station in parking lot Take I-575 North will become Hwy 515 go thru Blue Ridge to Morganton and Hwy 60 turn left go about 2 miles take Hwy 60 spur, at North Carolina Line turn on to US 129/19, at Topton, Hwy 129 turn left follow for about 27 miles thru Robbinsville to Hwy 28 turn right at Deals Gap to Twentymile Ranger Station.

Will this event occur rain or shine? Yes, be ready for what ever Mother Nature throws our way!
