Easy

3/03 Saturday – Set-up camp at Fort Mountain State Park, eat, build fire and later that night do a FULL MOON night hike (optional)
3/04 Sunday – Open – could do a hike, road ride, mtn bike ride or trail run – lots of options at Fort Mountain

Beginners are encouraged to learn the basics of camping. Your trip leader will cover site selection, preparation, assembling a tent, building a camp fire, etiquette and many other tips and tricks.

The trip leader has extra gear and a stove, pots and pans, etc.. We will build a fire but you are responsible for your food. You may also eat in town, about eight miles away, but are encouraged to spend meal time w/the group.

Our tent site has electrical hookup (if needed), a picnic table and pit for a fire. Each site has room for three cars and 3-4 tents. Bathroom/shower facilities are within a short walk and are available 24/7.

Are Dogs Permitted? No.

Will this event occur rain or shine? Yes.

NOTE: Please be considerate of others. If you sign-up and cannot attend, please e-mail the trip leader, so others that may be on a waiting list may attend.
