Itinerary:

This ride will be about 35 hilly highway miles. Our pace will be around 15 miles per hour.  It's an out and back course, but we really need to stay together because there are many turns along the route.

We will be riding from Noah's Ark to High Falls Park, where you can relax at the visitors center, enjoy the waterfalls, refill your water bottles and purchase a snack.  We'll rest for about 15-20 minutes, then head back the way we came.

Noah's Ark (http://www.noahs-ark.org/) is an animal rehabilitation and shelter for wild animals that are found injured or in the wrong hands. The gates at Noah's Ark open at 9 am.  We'll park there and shoot for wheels down by 9:15. We should be able to make it to High Falls Park and back by noon to enjoy an optional picnic and a stroll through the animal park.  Please bring any food or beverage you would like for lunch. After the picnic (in front of the Emus!) everyone is welcome to check out the park; it's not big, but you will be amazed at the wonderful animals housed there...tiger, lion, bear oH my!!..

If you have any kind of dog food, cat food, bird seed, parrot pellets or fruit or vegetables (i.e., bag of carrots) that you can bring with you, please do. Peanut Butter is a big hit with the monkeys, we are told.  We would like to help out any way we can. The park does not charge to visit, but they keep their animals cared for by public donations.
