We will meet on the wall across from the bathrooms at 6:45pm at the main trail to go up stone mountain. we will only wait 15 minutes and then head up. also make sure you bring something for dinner. some one on the last sunset hike had thought this would be fun to do. also make sure to bring a flashlight for the walk down in the dark.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

Directions to Walk up trail From I-285 take U.S. Hwy 78 East about 7 miles to Exit 8, Stone Mountain Park Entrance. After entering, road will fork at about 1 mile - stay to the right. Continue for 1 mile. About 0.2 miles, turn left into parking lot, just past the Confederate Hall. We'll gather at the start of the walk up trail near the bathrooms.

If you would like to try the free public parking, there is a Marta Park and Ride on Fourth Street in Stone Mountain Village. From there it is a less than a half mile walk on East Mountain Street into the Park and you will end up right at the start of the walk-up trail where we are meeting.
