Itinerary:

For anyone going on the Maine trip, this will be a great "warm-up" hike to test out your fall gear. And if you plan to hike Mt. Katahdin in Maine as some us will, why not hit Springer Mountain and see both ends of the AT in a week!

This hike begins at top of Amicalola Falls. From there, we take the AT approach to Springer Mtn (8.1 miles). On the way back we branch off to make a quick visit at the Len Foote Inn. We will have lunch either on top of Springer or at the Inn. Heck, eat when you're hungry I say. When we return to the falls, if time permits, we can take the steps down to the base of the falls. Then we head back home.

The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver.
