Itinerary:

Do you think Joyce and Lauren would let Halloween pass us by without doing something fun? Joyce never misses an opportunity to dress up. Lauren tolerates her antics.

Join us for a fun one: a hike around Roswell Area Park in your Halloween costume!  We'll walk around the park - - an area which is usually quite full of people (and lots of kids). How much fun it will be to see a group of adults walking around the park in costumes? Costumes are optional, but we'd love for you to come out dressed up and have some fun with us. You don't have to have a 'real' costume - just throw something fun together. The trails are lit and we'll be out after dark - - which makes the hike even more fun.

Description of the terrain: There are lots of trails around the park that are a mix of packed gravel and asphalt. We plan on covering close to 4 miles - we'll make two trips around the lake and double up the prettiest loop on the trail to stretch it out a little bit. The trails are nice and wide and wind through lots of soccer and baseball fields as well as some wooded areas and a pretty lake.

This is a dog-friendly park, with many dogs on the trail.  You are welcome to bring your dog as long as you keep it on leash during the hike and clean up any messes that it makes. Oh, and put your dog in a costume!  HA HA

Please arrive a few minutes before the hike is scheduled to start to check in and do introductions.  We will start on time.

** Please note the directions below as we are meeting just outside of the park.
